A bulk container liner (or sea bulk liner) is a large, flexible protective bag placed inside standard ISO shipping containers (e.g., 20ft or 40ft). It serves as a secondary barrier, preventing cargo from directly contacting the container walls and protecting goods from moisture, contamination, and leakage during bulk transport.
Key Materials & Construction:
Polyethylene (PE): Usually used for fine powders, food-grade materials (like sugar and flour), and items requiring high moisture or odor barriers.
Polypropylene (PP): Woven fabrics designed for heavy-duty, abrasive materials, or granules that don't easily tear the fabric.
Bulkheads: Integrated at the door-end of the liner to hold back the cargo. These are typically made of woven PE/PP or reinforced with metal/wooden bars.
